Grilling Tip of the Day – No Peeking!
Every grill master wants to serve a perfectly cooked meal to dinner guests. While it is hard to keep that lid closed, try hard to not peek! Keeping the lid closed helps the food inside cook faster. Opening and closing the lid multiple times will cause the grill to lose heat so your food will take longer to cook. Additionally, most proteins are high in water content. The longer the protein is on the grill, the greater chance it has of drying out. Keeping the lid closed will keep the heat inside, which will cook food faster and result in a moist and tender dinner that your guests will love!
So, next time you grill, do yourself a favor – use a timer and No Peeking!
