How to View Consumption History

Trussville Gas & Water’s service team reads our customers’ gas and water meters monthly. Each month, the consumption (or usage) is calculated to determine the billing charge for the month. Natural gas is measured in cubic feet and water is measured in gallons. To determine how much gas or water has been used since the previous reading, we simply subtract last month’s reading from the current reading. By keeping track of gas and water consumption, you will be better able to track your gas and water usage and become more aware of conserving energy and water. Additionally, if there is a drastic, unseasonable change in gas or water usage, you may want to check for a leak.

The easiest way to view or print your consumption is to visit our online bill pay portal and register for an account. If you are already registered for a customer portal, just log onto your Account.

  1. Once logged into your customer portal, click “Accounts.”
  2. Click “View Consumption.”
  3. You will be able to view your consumption history for the previous 3 months.

You may also call our customer service department during normal business hours at 205-655-3211 for a copy of consumption history for a longer period of time.
