Rebate will be applied to the customer account unless it is indicated that an ACH Bank Transfer payment is preferred. If a customer’s account is not current on payments, the rebate will automatically be applied to the customer account as a credit. Rebate will be paid to homeowners only, renters are not eligible for rebates. Rebate Requests must be received no later than 6 months from the date of purchase. (Please note that our residential rebate program is for existing homes, not new construction.)

HEATING UNITS
- Replace existing Natural Gas Furnace with a New Natural Gas Furnace
- $300.00 rebate to customer
- $300.00 rebate to HVAC* dealer
- Convert from Electric Furnace to New Natural Gas Furnace
- $500.00 rebate to customer
- $500.00 rebate to HVAC* dealer
- Only new HVAC units are eligible for the rebate. Rebate will not exceed the amount paid for the unit. Proof of purchase is required for rebate. Only full gas furnace purchases are eligible for the rebate. Hybrid, dual fuel or piggy-back units are not eligible.
- Only *qualified HVAC dealers that have been approved by Trussville Gas and Water are eligible for this rebate. To find a list of these contractors, click here. Customer or HVAC dealer will need to provide Trussville Gas and Water with a signed invoice and the make, model, and serial number of the installed unit to qualify for this rebate.
- Financing is available for as low as 6% interest, with approved credit. Interest rates are variable based on credit history.
WATER HEATERS
- $350.00 Rebate for:
- Converting from an Electric to a New Natural Gas Water Heater.
- Replacing an Existing Natural Gas Water Heater with a New Natural Gas Water Heater.
- Installing a new, tank-less, Natural Gas Water Heater.
- Up to $450.00 Rebate toward Installation of a 30, 40 or 50 gallon Water Heater when converting from an electric Water Heater to a Natural Gas Water Heater.
- Only new Natural Gas Water Heaters are eligible for the rebate. Rebate will not exceed the amount paid for the unit. Proof of purchase is required for rebate.
- Financing is available for as low as 6% interest, with approved credit. Interest rates are variable based on credit history.
Rebates are available once every 5 years. If you are experiencing problems with your water heater you should contact the manufacturer.
GAS COOKING RANGE
- $100.00 Rebate to Replace or Convert to a new Natural Gas Range or Cook Top.
- Only new appliances are eligible for the rebate. Rebate will not exceed the amount paid for the unit. Proof of purchase is required for rebate.
GAS DRYER
- $100.00 Rebate to Replace an Existing Gas Dryer with a New Natural Gas Dryer
- $450.00 Rebate to Convert to a new Natural Gas Dryer.
- Only new appliances are eligible for the rebate. Rebate will not exceed the amount paid for the unit. Proof of purchase is required for rebate.
GAS LOGS
- $30.00 Rebate to Replace or Convert to new Natural Gas Fireplace Logs.
- Only new logs are eligible for the rebate. Rebate will not exceed the amount paid for the unit. Proof of purchase is required for rebate.
