Sample Calculation:
Please note that our water rates have step charges. This means you will have to calculate your usage based on each step of units used each billing cycle. Also, if you have gas AND water, the tax is calculated after the gas and water usage is added together.
If the usage on your bill is 155 units:
First 60 units billed at $.290 per unit = $17.40
Additional 90 units billed at $.370 per unit = $33.30
Next 5 units billed at $.600 per unit = $3.00
+ $25.79 base charge
+ 4% tax
($17.40 + $33.30 + $3.00 + $25.79) = $79.49 x 4% = $ 82.67
